Taught by Elder Lance Kinzer
Room 43 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

In 1544 Martin Bucer, the great reformer of Strassburg, appealed to Calvin to draft a statement of the doctrines of and necessity for the Reformation. The result was remarkable. Church History: 1800-1900
Led by a rotation of Elders
Room 45 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

If we want to understand ourselves and our churches, we need to know where we’ve been. Despite rising Darwinism, growing liberalism, a wave of revivalism, and many other tremendous challenges, the 19th century was a time of fervent missionary endeavor and a growing Church. In this series, Dr. W. Robert Godfrey surveys the remarkable landscape of the 19th century, illuminating the failures and triumphs of that age and helping us understand the opportunities and challenges of our own day.

Heaven & The New Earth: A Primer on our Eternal Home
Taught by Elder Galen Mussman
Room 46 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

Scripture commands us to “set our minds on things above.” This means all our thoughts should be shaped by heavenly realities. But we cannot think heavenly thoughts unless we know what the Bible actually teaches. Sadly, most Christians hold vague—and often inaccurate—notions of “things above.” Let’s change that. Right thinking about the eternal home Christ is preparing will strengthen weary hearts and stir us to praise. Bring your questions—God’s Word has answers.
