Sunday School Classes (Spring 2026)

Men and Women in the Church
Taught by Pastor John Choi
Room 43 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

God’s creation of humanity as male and female is central to His design and purpose. This class explores how men and women, though distinct, were made to complement one another in God’s plan—especially within marriage and the life of the church. Together we’ll consider how understanding this divine design shapes our relationships, ministries, and witness in the world.

Transforming Grace
Taught by Elder Ben Vos
Room 44 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

We as Christians find little more precious than the grace of God shown to us in Jesus Christ.  And yet, do we too often limit in our thinking the full extent of God’s grace within our lives?  Do we celebrate God’s grace shown to us freely in salvation, and then unknowingly slip into a works mentality in our daily walk?  In this study of Transforming Grace, Living Confidently in God’s Unfailing Love by Jerry Bridges, we will unpack a richer and very practical understanding of God’s superabounding grace.  We will see that “Jesus paid it all, really paid it all — not just our salvation, but every blessing and every answer to prayer we ever receive.  Every one, no exceptions.”

The Life and Theology of Paul
Led by a rotation of Elders
Room 45 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

Before being beaten and imprisoned, planting multiple churches, and authoring much of the New Testament, Paul had no equal as a Pharisee in his dedication to the law and his persecution of the early church-but God called Paul to be an Apostle. Join Dr. Guy Waters in this twelve-part series as he identifies key moments in Paul’s life and considers the essence of Paul’s God-centered theology. Paul’s inspired writings and the story of his life continue to be a precious gift to the church, used by God to encourage and equip His people in every generation.

Esther & Ruth
Taught by Elder Bob Reymond
Room 46 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

Does God help those who help themselves? That may seem to be the message of Esther and Ruth. Yet a closer reading shows a gracious and sovereign God at work, one who uses obviously flawed people―unable even to help themselves―to rescue his people and prepare for the coming of Christ.
