Women’s Ministry

The mission of the Women’s Ministry is to encourage and enhance each woman’s spiritual maturity. By nurturing one another, we seek to glorify God as we assist in meeting the needs of the women and our covenant family. All women at Redeemer belong to the Women’s Ministry and are encouraged to fulfill the Titus 2 mandate:

“But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine…Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, so that the word of God may not be reviled.” (Titus 2:1, 3-5)

With that purpose in mind, our prayer is that every woman knows Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world.

Bible Studies

We offer several Bible studies at various times throughout the year on campus.  The studies that are going on this Winter are:

• Remember Your Joy on Tuesday mornings.  Childcare is available.
• Women of Scripture on Wednesday mornings.  Childcare is available.
• Galatians and Philippians on Wednesday nights.

Service to the Church

Redeemer’s Women’s Ministry serves our church body in a number of ways including:

• Preparing coffee at the morning worship services
• Prepare and serve meals for church-wide events and Women’s Ministry events
• Help teach the children of the church in Sunday School
• Missions Support by organizing and participating in the UCA Christmas Project as well as other projects throughout the year.
• Women’s Ministry Committees including Fun & Fellowship, Bible Studies and Service.
