From the Library: Resources for Holy Week and Easter

Holy Week invites us to slow down. To remember. To sit with the weight of what Christ endured—and the joy of what followed.

The Redeemer library has gathered resources to help you and your family do just that. Whether you’re looking for a theological deep-dive, a quiet devotional, or a story to read with your children, there is something here for you.

A few highlights from the adult collection: A.W. Pink’s The Seven Sayings of the Savior on the Cross and John Stott’s The Cross of Christ offer rich, substantive reflection on the crucifixion. Sinclair Ferguson’s Reflections on the Road to the Cross makes for a steady companion through the season. And Leland Ryken’s Poetry of Redemption is a beautifully curated collection of Good Friday and Easter poems—worth reading slowly.

For younger readers, R.C. Sproul’s The Donkey Who Carried a King and The Prince’s Poison Cup are perennial favorites. Carine Mackenzie’s titles—Jesus the Savior and Jesus Is Alive—are simple, faithful, and well worth putting in small hands.
