God doesn’t promise relief from hardships, but will always provide the comfort necessary to endure and accomplish His purposes.
I. God, through Christ, is our only source of true comfort. (1-3)
II. Life’s hardships are met with God’s comfort lived out in our lives together. (4-5)
III. We need God’s perspective about hardship and suffering or we will despair. (6-11)
