Even within the confines of a closed universe, people seek some place that will serve as a point of access to the transcendent. We feel an aching void that screams to be filled by the Holy. We long for holy space....-R.C. Sproul

* We are redeemed to give our Holy God the Glory He deserves
* Worship is our central activity
* There is an indissoluble connection between what we build as our central place of worship and what we believe
It is most unfortunate that many people understand the word architecture solely in terms of style...A Church is a place where God's people gather together to worship Him, and how they worship, as well as what they believe, is either reinforced or undermined by the architecture. Church architecture is therefore first and foremost a matter of theology rather than a matter of style. - Donald Bruggink (Christ and Architecture)
