When we confess our sin, God pours His assurance upon us.
I. What genuine confession looks like (9-11)
A. We are moved to cry out to God for help. (Awake!)
B. We are moved to a commitment to praise and dependence
II. God responds to our confession with assurance of His loving care for us (12-23)
A. He comforts us immediately
B. He teaches about our weakness to comfort us with His strength
C. He calls for humble dependence to assure our security
D. He tells us to wake up and see what brings His discipline
E. He will vindicate us before His enemies
