2026 Spring Bible Studies
This Spring we are offering four Bible Studies on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Limited childcare will be available for some of the studies.
Most classes are in person, one is a Zoom meeting.
TUESDAY MORNING
“Habakkuk”
(by Lydia Brownback)
Led by Carmen Creecy
Dates: January 27-April 14
9:00-10:45 AM
Childcare is not available.
Though only three chapters long, the Old Testament book of Habakkuk overflows with plagues, violence, and pleas for deliverance. Why does God ever allow evil to flourish? That’s what Habakkuk seeks to understand, and as he waits for the Lord, he discovers that God is faithful to deliver His people from every trouble in His own way and time.
Explore verse by verse the complex subject of God’s judgment and wrath, why God allows pain and illness, and how He deals with unrepentant sin. This study also teaches how to wait faithfully for God to answer prayer.
Book is available HERE.
TUESDAY EVENING
Foundations of the Faith: God’s Sovereignty and Man’s Responsibility
Led by Jeffie Mussman
January 27-March 31 (Not February 17 or March 17)
7:00-8:30 PM
Location: Online via Zoom
In light of God’s sovereignty, what is our responsibility? What do these doctrines say about the character of God and the calling of Man? More importantly, how do we integrate the truth of both sides of this equation into our lives? This semester we’ll be searching the Scriptures for insight while learning the Navigator’s method of Inductive Bible study.
Each week you’ll receive a study guide featuring two new passages to explore in your Bible by applying the next step of the Navigator method. Our Zoom meeting will have a time for “rooms” of small groups of two or three to review the passages as well as a time for sharing with the entire group. We pray that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, our knowledge and application of these doctrines will increase AND our Bible study tools will be sharpened.
If you have time to read the text on your own, you may purchase the book HERE.
WEDNESDAY MORNING
“Romans”
(by Hope Blanton & Christine Gordon)
Led by Janey Currey
(Class is Full)
9:00-10:45 AM
Childcare was available.
Enjoy an in-depth study of the book of Romans this coming year. We will gain insights from Hope Blanton & Christine Gordon along with our own personal time in the Word all guided by the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul gives us 16 chapters of rich theology from beginning to end and ways to apply these truths to our daily lives. Be strengthened and encouraged as we do not look to ourselves for any righteousness of our own. We look to Jesus and receive the righteousness that The Father gives us only through His Son.
WEDNESDAY EVENING
I John, 2 John, 3 John (Precept study)
Led by Lorie Burton
February 4-March 18
6:30-8:00 PM
Childcare is NOT available
Take a journey through the scriptures with the Apostle John, an eyewitness to the life of Jesus Christ. John walked with Jesus on the earth so it’s no wonder that he steps up to the plate when deceivers try to weave a story that leads believers away from the truth. In 1 John and 2 & 3 John we will explore questions like, “How do you know if you’re really born again?” “What does it mean to be holy?” “What does it mean to love God?” “How do you know the truth?”
THURSDAY MORNING
I John, 2 John, 3 John (Precept study)
Led by Lorie Burton
February 5- March 19
9:00-10:45 AM
Childcare is NOT available

Prayer Vigils
Each quarter our church takes a focused time to pray for our congregation, its leaders, and our missionaries. You can sign up to pray from your home or gather with others to pray for a one hour time period. The bulletin will offer a link to sign up and get prayer guides. Mark your calendar for the upcoming vigils so you can be ready to support Redeemer Presbyterian Church: January 11-12; April 12-13; July 12-13; and October 11-12.
On the Go
Podcast encouragement! These conversations give examples of ways to intentionally pray with others in trying circumstances, as well as specific questions or conversation starters that go beyond the basic, “How are you doing?”
