WM: Deepen Your Spiritual Walk

2026 Summer

As we shift into a new season, schedules are changing at Redeemer. HFG’s are taking a break and Sunday night picnics have begun, but now is the time to continue learning and growing together. There are three ways you can do that through these Summer Opportunities. Try one on your own or share with a friend:

> Choose A DEVOTIONAL BOOK from the church library to read. Some books take 30 days. Others are classics like” My Utmost For His Highest” or “Streams in the Desert”, which give you a little nugget for each day. Perhaps “A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 “ or “Lessons From the Upper Room” would work for you. View this LINK for a listing and then visit the church library in the Lower Level. Sign out a book with your name, title of the book, and due date.

> The national PCA women’s ministry has developed a series of PODCASTS to encourage women. This is something you can listen to at your convenience or talk about what you are learning with a friend. These are two options:

> GET TOGETHER with a Friend or Group of Sisters this summer at a park ( for the kids), over coffee or lunch, or out on the deck. This time you reach out and call someone. Don’t wait for them to contact you. Who is someone you have been meaning to call? How about someone new?
When you gather let it be a time for Roses and Thorns. Each one of you share a current joy or delight. Then share a challenge or trial. Give thanks and pray for these things. Afterwards enjoy the rest of the fellowship with your sister(s) in Christ.

It’s time to seize the day…

Prayer Vigils

Each quarter our church takes a focused time to pray for our congregation, its leaders, and our missionaries. You can sign up to pray from your home or gather with others to pray for a one hour time period. The bulletin will offer a link to sign up and get prayer guides. Mark your calendar for the upcoming vigils so you can be ready to support Redeemer Presbyterian Church:  January 11-12; April 12-13; July 12-13; and October 11-12.

On the Go

Podcast encouragement! These conversations give examples of ways to intentionally pray with others in trying circumstances, as well as specific questions or conversation starters that go beyond the basic, “How are you doing?”
