Sunday Morning Worship 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM
On Sunday, January 18th, Pastor Tony continued his sermon series in II Corinthians: Cultivating Ambassadors for Christ. The sermon focused on the principles around true repentence. Pastor Tony showed us that Godly affection leads to caring correction, in which correction aims to cause genuine repentance, and finally repentance brings joy and increases affection.
On Sunday, January 11th, Pastor Tony continued his sermon series in II Corinthians: Cultivating Ambassadors for Christ. Through this passage we see that genuine reception of God’s grace will stir us to growth in holiness, which will declare God’s glory. Services were at 8:30 & 11:00 AM.
On Sunday, January 4th, Pastor Tony continued his sermon series in II Corinthians: Cultivating Ambassadors for Christ. He reminded us that enduring the difficulties and hardships of life is a mark of genuine faith in Christ and a powerful way God points people to Christ. Services were at 8:30 & 11:00 AM.
On Sunday, December 28th, Pastor Nathan started his sermon series in II Samuel: Shepherd King. The opening chapter shows that when grief comes our theology shows. We were reminded that we must ground our grief through a deepening understanding of our God.
On Sunday, December 21st, Pastor Tony concluded his 4 part Advent series. Our focus was on Joseph (by adoption) and Mary (by birth), as Jesus was born in the Davidic line as the Seed who would crush Satan.
On Sunday, December 14th, Pastor Tony continued his four part Advent series. This third installment focused on David. Pastor Tony emphasized that through King David came Jesus, who is the everlasting King over an everlasting Kingdom. He is our King.
On Sunday, December 7th, Pastor Tony continued his 4 part Advent series. Through these various passages of scripture we see that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of God’s promises to Abraham and we receive the benefits when we are “in Christ”. Worship services on Sunday were at 8:30 and 11:00 AM.
