Let the Nations Be Glad!
Led by Elder Mike Dykstra
Room 43 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

Worship is the ultimate goal of the church. It is proper worship that fuels missionary outreach. In “Let the Nations Be Glad!”, John Piper offers a biblical defense of God’s supremacy in all things, providing readers with a sound theological foundation for missions. He examines whether Jesus is the only way to salvation and issues a passionate plea for God-centeredness in the missionary enterprise, seeking to define the scope of the task and the means for reaching “all nations.”

Angels and Demons & Silencing the Devil
Facilitated by a Rotation of Elders
Room 44 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

Angels and demons are portrayed and discussed everywhere-from statues and paintings to poems and songs to the Internet. But are they understood correctly? With all the attention these beings receive, Christians are bound to get confused between what is often assumed to be “common knowledge” and how the Word of God actually portrays them. In this series, Dr. R.C. Sproul seeks to challenge many of the modern myths regarding these other-worldly beings by offering a Biblical view of the spiritual realm.

In the second series, Silencing the Devil, Dr. Sproul delivers the most common and forceful arguments against truth, God, and the Bible. But even Dr. Sproul as the Devil’s advocate is no match for Dr. Gerstner’s ability to turn false reasoning to dust. Silencing the Devil, while entertaining, is an effective and practical tool for defending the faith in this faithless world.

Jonah
Led by Bennet Zeller
Room 45 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

Believers and unbelievers alike are probably familiar with the story of Jonah, but their understanding of the story rarely stretches beyond the fact that Jonah was swallowed and regurgitated by a big fish. In reality, the book of Jonah is a literary masterpiece which is full of adventure, surprise, irony, and redemption all to highlight the sovereign grace of God. Join us as we study the book of Jonah and seek to better understand how, by grace, God uses broken people as His instruments of grace to save broken people.

Getting to the Heart of Parenting
Led by Pastor Nathan Currey
Room 46 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary

Parenting is hard, but there are few things in life that rise to this level of importance. God has chosen parents to be primary instruments in the shaping of a human soul. Pastor Nathan will lead a discussion over this video series by Dr. Paul David Tripp. It’s a journey through the Bible to discover a different and better way to parent. After laying down foundational parenting principles, Tripp covers specific application for children 0-5, 6-12, and 13-18.
