Our experience of joy in the Lord and His salvation is not dependent on our immediate circumstances nor does it mean the same thing as happiness.
I. Salvation (Eternal life) belongs to those who trust in God’s promises (Christ).
II. Trials and tribulations are part of life in this fallen world.
III. We can have true joy despite the trials and tribulations of this life.
