God Has Spoken

God has spoken to us through the most perfect of all spokesmen – Jesus Christ. Are you listening?

• God progressively revealed His Son to us over thousands of years (1)

~ How?
~ Why?

• God brought the progression of revealing His Son to it’s culmination at the Incarnation (2-3)

~ Jesus is the final revelation
~ Jesus is the heir of all things
~ Jesus is the agent of creation
~ Jesus is the Radiance of God’s Glory
~ Jesus is the Imprint of God’s nature
~ Jesus is the upholder of the universe
~ Jesus is the purifier of our sins
~ Jesus is the at God’s Right Hand

• God has spoken in Christ. How much effort do you spend seeking to learn what God has said?

~ Are you whining about God not talking to you or making His will more clear to you?
~ Are you listening to people more than Jesus?

Hebrews 1:1-3

1:1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, (ESV)
