* How is Hebrews to be understood?

-It is an exhortation or a call (a sermon) to commit, by the power and sufficiency of Christ – a plea for perseverance

-It assumes a proper understanding of the relationship between the Old and New Testaments (God’s Covenant People).

Hebrews 1:1-2
