Tony has served at Redeemer since 1997 and has had the privilege of leading the congregation as senior pastor since 2001. Raised in Western New York, he came to faith in Christ as a teenager and has been captivated ever since by the call of Colossians 1:28 — to labor and strive in presenting everyone mature in Christ. That vision shapes his love for expository preaching, worship, and equipping leaders for gospel ministry.

In recent years, Tony has found fresh joy in teaching Church History and theology at Sangre de Cristo Seminary in Colorado.

Tony and his wife Shari have been married for thirty-three years. They have three married sons and a daughter still at home finishing high school. Outside of ministry, he enjoys reading, golf, fishing, and bowhunting whitetails.

Tony holds a B.A. from the Moody Bible Institute, an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary, a Th.M. and D.Min. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a D.Arts from Whitefield Theological Seminary.
