Current Women's Bible Studies

It is our desire to provide Women in the Church regular and special opportunities for discipleship through the study of God’s Word.  Women’s Bible Studies is one of the primary means for fulfilling our mission.

All women attending Redeemer are invited to a Redeemer WIC Bible Study.

John: That You May Believe

John: That You May Believe guides you through what many consider to be the most artful and poetic of the gospels. It’s portrait of the Word made flesh rewards careful study so “that you may believe”.

This study, led by Janey Currey, will meet every other Tuesday morning from 8:30-10:00am beginning on September 4. Study will meet in Room 44. Nursery is provided.

Spiritual Mothering
By Susan Hunt

This book is a practical guide to applying Titus 2 principles to the lives of women in the church. Susan Hunt shares biblical and personal examples of how to live out the ideas of mentoring those who are younger in the faith.

This study will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings beginning on September 5 and will be led by Joy Noé. It will meet in Room 44 from 6:30-8:00pm. Nursery is provided.

Precept Upon Precept
Exodus: Let My People Go

Watch Moses develop as a leader. See God deliver His people by judging their enemies. Learn powerful truths about His ways. A remarkably practical study of deliverance, redemption, the Law and the Tabernacle.

Study will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings beginning September 12 at 6:30pm in Room 42. Led by Lorie Burton. Nursery is provided.

 

Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs: Wisdom’s Searching and Finding

This study goes through two of the most beautiful Old Testament poetic books, both of which deal with universal, basic human quests: for the meaning of life (Ecclesiastes) and the joy of love (Song of Songs.)

This study will meet weekly on Thursday mornings from 10:00am–12:00pm beginning on October 4. The study will meet in the Geneva Room in the south building. NO nursery for this class. Led by Carmen Creecy and Sharon Owen.
