Bible Study: Witnesses for Christ. Acts Part 1
Taught By Jason Dohring
Room 43 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary
“You will be My witnesses.” This class will focus on the first 12 chapters of the book of Acts; namely the ministry of Peter and the early apostles. Come discover or rediscover how the Holy Spirit used ordinary men and women to turn the world upside down with the truth of the Gospel and how you can be used in the same way. All that is needed for this class is a Bible and a pen.
Book Study: Whatever happened to the Gospel of Grace?
By James Montgomery Boice
Taught By Elder Bob Albright
Room 44 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary
In this work, James Montgomery Boice identifies what’s happened within evangelicalism and suggests how the confessional statements of the Reformation—Scripture alone, Christ alone, grace alone, faith alone, and glory to God alone—can ignite full-scale revival. “A church without these convictions has ceased to be a true church, whatever else it may be,” he wrote, but “if we hold to these doctrines, our churches and those we influence will grow strong.”
This book study combines a serious examination of the state of today’s church and a powerful solution: reclaiming the gospel of grace found in the confessional truths of the Reformation.
Book Study: When Sinners Say “I Do”
Taught By Pastor Nathan Currey
Room 45 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary
Marriage is the union of two people who arrive at the altar toting some surprisingly large luggage. Often it gets opened right there on the honeymoon, sometimes it waits for the week after. The Bible calls it sin and understanding its influence can make all the difference for a man and woman who are building a life together. When Sinners Say “I Do” is about encountering the life-transforming power of the gospel in the unpredictable journey of marriage. This will be a book discussion led by Pastor Nathan and Janey Currey.
Presbyterians, A Creedy People
Taught by Elders Mike Preston & Bob Reymond
Room 46 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary
Creeds have been published throughout church history to emphasize foundational Biblical beliefs and to address heresy in the church. We still use many of these historical Creeds in our worship today, so it helps to have an understanding of their basis, their theological content, their historical context, how they were developed, and why they are still integral parts of our worship. Join us as we look more deeply into the Apostles, Nicene and Athanasian Creeds during our 13 week study.
Meet the Pastor
Taught by Pastor Tony Felich
Room 47 in the Lower Level of the Sanctuary
The first six weeks of the quarter, Pastor Tony introduces visitors and regular attenders to Redeemer, covering topics such as the history, leadership, theology, and ministries of Redeemer.
