As we move out of Winter into Spring, the Church Calendar is getting full. Here are some of the church-wide events on the horizon.

On Saturday, April 9th, we will have a church-wide Spring Property Clean-up Morning. We have several tasks on the property such as mulching, trimming, removing dead plants, spreading rock, and a few special repair projects. We will begin at 7:30 AM with a Tailgate fellowship and light breakfast. Spring Cleaning will be from 8:30–11:30 AM.

April 16th, the Men’s Bible Study that meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, will begin their 9 month journey through the book of Isaiah. All men are welcome to join.

April 22nd, Good Friday Service at 7 PM. We will have our annual service in the Sanctuary.

Easter Morning,  as we do every year, we will have our Easter Brunch during the regular Sunday School hour. Families will bring a main and side dish to share.

April 30th and May 1st we will hold our Annual Missions Conference. As we have done in the past, our we will have a covered-dish meal on Saturday night, with our featured speaker. Then on Sunday Morning, our featured speaker will preach. During the Sunday School hour, we will have three different classes for the Adults, plus special lessons for the children. Thursday, May 5th, we will hold National Day of Prayer Service at 7 PM. We will be meeting in the Sanctuary and praying for our many issues and leaders of our Nation.

Our first Ministry Fair will be on Sunday May 15th, from 9 to 11 AM. This will allow for the congregation to engage leaders from all the different ministries at Redeemer.

We are honored to be hosting the Greenleaf Academy’s spring production, a dramatic adaption of John’s Gospel, during our Sunday Evening Gathering on May 15th.

Our first Heritage Christian Academy Senior Class will have their graduation ceremony at 2 PM on May 22nd.

Sunday, May 29th marks the beginning of our Cookout season. For the summer months, to finish our Sunday Evening Gathering, we have a cookout at the South Building. We provide the main dish and families bring a side dish and dessert.

Each year we host Vacation Bible School. Dates for this year are June 6th through 10th. This year’s theme is Pandamania. We will once again partner with Oak Hills Presbyterian church.

Also to note:

• Open soccer is in the gym on Monday nights from 8:30 to 10 PM from now until the end of the summer school break.
• Our Women’s Bible Studies will start again this Summer.
